Farmfest '08 welcome 30,000 visitors (June 2008) - Farmfest '08, the biggest agricultural event of the Irish farming calendar, was hosted by Teagasc on June 20th in Athenry, and visitor numbers far exceeded expectations, with over 30,000 people enjoying the organic and artisan foods, bioenergy and rural development exhibits.
